My Windows 98 does not see the .ico files as _really_ being icons -- that is, the extension says icon but Win 98 cannot see any icon image in the file.

Installed blue set for Windows, don't see any change.
Saw a similar post here.
Is there any support available?

very nice icons...but I cant get them at all. The link is hidden from view on rollover, and saving it shows it (the windows icon installer) to link to this same page...not a .xpi file like all the other icon packs.

would be great if this were resolved...I'd like to try these out :)

When I try to install I get an error mesage saying the xpi is not a valid install package. Firefox on Ubuntu Linux (no direct root account, use sudo). Tried running Firefox from both user account and via sudo; no joy. Also, the file name for both the yellow and blue Linux icons say it is the yellow package (just a naming error?). Maybe something I did wrong? Please let me know....Linux newbie. Checked the FAQ, didn't see anything that would help me.

Sure, give me a day or two. Right now, I am in the middle of some homework :)

Thanks, and by the way, I was mistaken. It is not blurry. This happened with another icon set - Firefox Crystal. I tried this one and it is fine.

Now, the only problem is that the icone is very tiny, and thus very hard to make out. Is it supposed to be so tiny?

Just asking because others in the forum have said it looks very good, - not that it doesn't, it does- but I don't understand how it could if it is so small.

re: comment #74 - you have to be using firefox in order to install the icon pack. These are icon packs for firefox, not internet explorer.

If you want to view the icons inside the file, you can open .xpi files with a compression utility such as WinZip , WinRAR, or ZipCentral
